Gnfc To Set Up Nitric Acid Plant

The Bharuch-based Rs 1500-crore fertiliser major, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers Company Limited (GNFC), will invest Rs 200 crore to expand its industrial chemicals business by taking up manufacture of nitric acid and expanding existing capacities.

GNFC has decided to expand capacity of its existing methanol and formic acid plants at Bharuch, 200km from Ahmedabad, P B Nanavati, executive director of GNFC said.
