Godawari Power jumps on tech foray

Godawari Power gained by nearly seven per cent on Monday to Rs 73.4. Earlier it touched a high of Rs 75.1. A total of 1.69 lakh shares were traded on BSE.
 
The stock has gained by over eight per cent over the past one month. The company's foray into waste heat recovery project has contributed to the surge on Monday.
 
The seven mw project makes it the leader in making a significant foray in this area. This is the first project of its kind in the steel sector in waste heat recovery power generation.
 
It has received certified emission reduction (CERs) amounting to over 66,000 units. Apart from sponge iron and steel billets, the company is also into captive power generation.
