Gold prices moved down by Rs 82 to Rs 20,646 per 10 grams in futures trade today on continued off-loading by speculators, amid a weakening global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for April contract fell by Rs 82, or 0.40 per cent, to Rs 20,646 per 10 grams in business turnover of just two lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in June contract lost Rs 82, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 20,937 per 10 grams in single lot.
Market analysts said continued off-loading by speculators amid weakening global trend mainly led to fall in gold prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, gold declined by $3.50 to $1,417.40 an ounce in Asian region.
