Gold futures for June fell by Rs 30, or 0.10% to Rs 29,200 per ten grams in 3795 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the August contract traded lower by Rs 31, or 0.10% to Rs 29,671 per ten grams in 136 lots.
Prices fell as speculators trimmed their positions.
In New York, gold fell cents 25.70 to $1,559.30 an ounce.
