Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius sells stake in 4 cos

Besides, Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius sold scrips of IndusInd Bank and United Phosphorous through open market transactions, as per information available with the stock exchanges

Foreign fund house Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius Ltd today offloaded shares in four companies, including Tata Motors and HDFC, for an estimated Rs 311 crore.

Besides, Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius sold scrips of IndusInd Bank and United Phosphorous through open market transactions, as per information available with the stock exchanges.

The shares were purchased by Goldman Sachs Singapore Pte.

However, it could not be ascertained whether the shares were purchased by the foreign fund house itself or any of its' client.

Individually, Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius sold 1.54 crore shares of United Phosphorous for Rs 141 apiece, valuing the transaction at Rs 217.50 crore.
 

Also, the foreign fund house shed 7.51 lakh scrips of mortgage lender HDFC on an average price of Rs 861 for an estimated Rs 64.66 crore.

Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius offloaded 3.65 lakh scrips of private sector lender IndusInd Bank for Rs 460 per shares in a transaction worth Rs 17 crore.

A total of 4.05 lakh shares of auto giant Tata Motors were sold by Goldman Sachs Investment Mauritius on an average price of Rs 292 for an estimated Rs 12 crore.
