 The counter gained on good buying support in the afternoon trades after the company reported good results, according to market sources.

 For the second quarter ended 30 September, 2003, the company registered a 132 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 46.58 crore (Rs 20.11 crore) on a 10 per cent increase in total income to Rs 1,878.62 crore (Rs 1,710.58 crore).
