Gram, its dal recover on retailers buying

In restricted activity, gram and its dal prices recovered by Rs 20 per quintal on revival of retailers buying amid restricted arrivals.

Traders said fresh buying by retailers against restricted arrivals, helped gram and its dal prices to recover. 

In the national capital, gram and its dal local variety ended Rs 20 each higher at Rs 2,470-2,495 and Rs 2,735-2,750 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 3,700-4,250, Urad chilka (local) 4,500-4,900, best 5,000-5,300, Dhoya 5,200-5,300, Moong 4,050-4,450, Dal moong chilka local 4,900-5,300, Moong Dhoya local 5,350-5,550 and best quality 5,850-6,050

Masoor small 3,000-3,200, bold 3,200-3,450, Dal Masoor local 3,800-3,900, best quality 4,050-4,350, Malka local 3,800-3,850, best 3,950-4,050, Moth 3,900-4,200, Arhar 3,300- 3,400, dal arhar dara 4,400-4,800

Gram 2,470-2,495, gram dal (local) 2,735-2,750, best quality 2,800-2,900, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,190, Rajdhani 1,190, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,300-3,900, China 3,400-3,900, red 3,400-3,500
