Gram and its dal prices continued to rise and rose up to Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade today on rising demand from retailers amid tight supply.
Elsewhere, other commodities moved in a narrow range in thin trade and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said rising demand retailers amid slowdown in arrivals from producing regions, mainly led to rise in gram and its dal prices.
Gram and its dal chilka local variety remained in demand added another Rs 25 each to Rs 2,350-2,375 and Rs 2,625-2,650 per quintal.
