In restricted activity, gram and its dal prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on pick up in retailers demand.

Slow down in arrivals also influenced trading sentiments. Traders said pick up in demand from retailers against tight supply mainly pushed up gram and its dal prices.

In the national capital, gram gained Rs 50 to Rs 2,450-2,475, while its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 2,725-2,750 and Rs 2,775-2,875 per quintal, respectively.
