In restricted activity, gram and its dal prices rose up to Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today on rising local demand against tight supply.
Traders said rising local demand, amid fall in arrivals from producing region, pushed up wholesale gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram gained Rs 50 to Rs 2,500-2,525, while its dal local and best quality were up by the same margin to Rs 2,800-2,815 and Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal.
