Gsi Finds Gold In Jharkhand

Geological Survey of India (GSI) has struck gold reserves along a 150 km stretch extending from Sisai in Gumla district to Chutu in Ranchi in the mineral-rich Jharkhand state.

According to GSI sources, a team led by S K Dasgupta conducted a survey following discovery of two rock pieces containing 4 gms of gold each by villagers in Chutu some time ago.

GSI found reserves of gold in the area between Sisai and Chutu passing through Bherno, Bero, Ramgarh, Gola and Petrawar. The find was marked
