Guargum prices plunged by Rs 200 to Rs 6,485 per quintal in futures trade today following all round selling by traders in line with weak spot market sentiment.
Marketmen said poor buying support and ample supply in physical markets mainly brought down the trading sentiments here in the future markets.
Sluggish demand from paste and adhesive making industries too put some weight on the prices, they added.
