Guarseed prices fell by Rs 95 to Rs 3,073 per quintal in futures trade today following increased selling by traders.
Market analysts said weak spot market sentiment put some weight on the guarseed futures price here.
Also, fall in export demand partly influenced the trading sentiment, they added.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guarseed for delivery in August tumbled by Rs 95, or 3 per cent, to Rs 3,073 per quintal, with an open interest of 130 lots.
Similarly, guarseed prices for delivery in March slid by Rs 72, or 2.54 per cent, to Rs 2,758 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,04,380 lots.
Guarseed prices for delivery in April moved down by Rs 72, or 2.49 per cent, to Rs 2,823 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,16,500 lots.
