The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) in Gujarat has been appointed nodal agency by the ministry of food processing industries to promote new ventures.
EDI will promote new ventures in the Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra in the first phase and expand its operations to other states in the second phase.
