The government of Gujarat has launched a campaign to get farmers to take up organic farming as crops grown on such farms were expected to fetch a premium and enjoy good demand in global markets.
The state directorate of agriculture has identified nearly 200 farmers in five districts in the eastern tribal belt to take up organic farming with the help of organic farmers
