Gur ends flat in thin trade

The wholesale gur (jaggery) prices ended on a flat note in the national capital today following little buying support against restricted supply.  

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also remained steady in the absence of buying support. 

Market analysts said enought ready stock position to meet ongoing seasonal demand kept the prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal.

Chakku Rs 2,300-2,350, pedi 2,350-2,400, Dhayya Rs 2,350-2,400 and Shakkar Rs 2,550-2,600
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,750-1,850, chakku Rs 2,100-2,250 and Khurpa Rs 2,050-2,100
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,100-2,125 and Dhaya Rs 2,125-2,150
