Gur ends flat in thin trade

Lethargic conditions developed on the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on alternate small bouts of trading and settled at last levels.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market too ended on last levels on little doings.

Market analysts said sporadic demand against restricted supply mainly held prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotations per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, Dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200, and Shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.

Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,200-2,300, chakku Rs 2,375-2,550 and Khurpa N.T.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,700-2,750 and Dhaya Rs N/A.
