Gur ends flat on some support

There was negligible change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale jaggery market at the national capital today as prices hovered around last levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also ended on a flat note on little doing.

Marketmen said restricted arrivals against sporadic demand, mainly kept gur prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,250-2,300, pedi Rs 2,250-2,300, Dhayya Rs 2,300-2,350 and Shakkar Rs 2,450-2,500

Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,750-1,850, chakku Rs 1,950-2,150 and Khurpa Rs 1,950-2,000

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,000-2,050 and Dhaya Rs 2,000-2,050
