Gur fell up to Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on new stocks arrivals in the market amid reduced offtake.
Marketmen said new gur arrivals against reduced offtake by stockists and local parties pulled down gur wholesale prices.
At Delhi, gur pedi, dhayya and shakkar were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,000-3,100, Rs 3,200-3,250 and Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal, respectively.
In Muradnagar, gur dhayya eased to Rs 2,950-3,000 against last close of Rs 3,000-3,025 per quintal.
