Gur prices dropped by Rs 17 to Rs 1,020 per quintal in futures trading today following weak spot markets demand.
Market analysts said sluggish demand and increased supply in physical markets influenced the trading sentiment here.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, gur for delivery in July declined by Rs 17, or 1.64% to Rs 1,020 per quintal, with an open interest of 11,980 lots.
Likewise, its prices for delivery in September slipped by Rs 13.50, or 1.28% to Rs 1,045 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,960 lots.
