Gur prices eased by Rs 4.80 or 0.48 per cent to Rs 987.40 per 40 kg in futures trading today on profit booking by traders at existing higher levels.

Marketmen said fresh selling by traders at higher levels, led to a downfall in gur prices.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange platform, the gur prices for July contract delivery went down by Rs 4.80, or 0.48 per cent to Rs 987.40 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 18,320 lots.
