Gur futures prices declined by Rs 9.50 to Rs 981.50 per 40 kg today following mounting stock positions in spot markets.
Market analysts said heavy stocks position as compared to ongoing seasonal demand, mainly pulled down gur futures prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, gur for delivery in March slipped by Rs 9.50, or 0.96 per cent, to Rs 981.50 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 18,110 lots.
Prices for delivery in January at Muzaffarnagar also went down by Rs 7, or 0.74 per cent, to Rs 933 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 6,790 lots.
