Gur prices lost further by Rs 9 or 1.11 per cent to Rs 800 per 40 kg in futures trade today on renewed selling by traders followed by a weak trend in spot markets.

Marketmen said a weak demand against better supply in spot markets pulled down the gur prices in futures trade.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the gur for delivery in November contract slipped by Rs 9, or 1.11 per cent to Rs 800 per 40 kg, with an open interest of 2,610 lots.

Current June-month contract too eased by Rs 2.40, or 0.25 per cent to Rs 957.40 per 40 kg, having an open interest of 14,360 lots.
