Gur prices closes quiet in thin trade

The wholesale jaggery prices ended on a flat note in the national capital today, as prices moved in a tight range on little bouts of buying and selling and pegged at last levels.

Muzzafarnagar market also finished unchanged on some support.

Marketmen said restricted arrivals and sporadic demand, mainly held gur prices unaltered.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,850-2,900, Pedi Rs 3,000-3,100, pedi new 3200-3300 Dhayya N.T. And Shakkar Rs N.T
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,075-2,175 chakku Rs 2,575-2,675 and Khurpa 2800-2900
In Muradnagar: Pedi N.A. And Dhaya N.A
