Quiet conditions prevailed in the wholesale gur (jaggery) market as prices continiously to be asked on the previous closing levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factor.

Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended flat in thin trade. Marketmen said restricted supply against little demand mainly kept gur prices stable.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

In Delhi: Chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, Pedi Rs 2,950-3,050 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.

In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,050-2,100 and chakku at Rs 2,400-2,575.

In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,700-2,750 while the price of Dhaya was not available.
