Gur remains flat in thin trade

The wholesale jaggery market remained unchanged as prices continued to be asked at previous levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also pegged on last closing levels on little doings.  

Marketmen said restricted supply from manufacturing areas along with sporadic buying support, mainly held gur prices around last levels.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,900-2,950, Pedi Rs 3,000-3,100 and Dhayya N.T., shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200

In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,950-2,000, chakku Rs 2,550-2,700 and Khurpa N.T      
In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,850-2,900 and Dhaya N.A
