Gur prices prices ended on a mixed note in the national capital today, as select prices declined on increased arrivals while a few others remained better on buying support.
Marketmen said adequate stocks positions following increased arrivals from producing areas mainly led to a decline in select wholesale gur prices.
At Delhi, gur pedi declined by Rs 100 to Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal, while dhayya rose to Rs 3,300-3,350, against the last close of Rs 3,150-3,200 per quintal.
In Muzzafarnagar, gur chakku and khurpa eased to Rs 2,875-2,950 and Rs 2,500-2,600, against last close of Rs 2,925-3,000 and Rs 2,650-2,700 per quintal.
Gur pedi in Muradnagar traded slightly higher at Rs 2,950-3,000, compared to the previous level of Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal.
