Havells India slips over 10% from day's high on heavy volumes

The stock slipped 7.5% to Rs 308, falling nearly 11% from its record high of Rs 347 touched in intra-day trade on NSE.

Shares in Havells India have slipped 7.5% to Rs 308, falling nearly 11% from its intra-day high, on back of heavy volumes.

The stock of electrical consumer production and power distribution equipment manufacturer had touched a record high of Rs 347 in noon deals on the National Stock Exchange.

The trading volumes on the counter jumped over three-fold with a combined 7.4 million shares of the company changed hands till 1455 hours on NSE and BSE.
