Healthy Financials Prop Up Tata Chemicals

Sustained buying interest resulted in the share price of Tata Chemicals firming up on Thursday. Tata Chemicals gained 1.2 per cent to Rs 74.65 on the BSE.

The scrip hit a high of Rs 75.40, a 52-week peak. The share witnessed a traded volume of 1.8 lakh shares. Tata Chemicals has been witnessing a sustained rise on the bourses in the last few trading sessions.

From a low of Rs 46.90 on November 14, 2002, the stock has surged 59 per cent in 6 months to the current level of Rs 74.65. The rally in the stock has come in amid intermittent corrections.
