Healthy numbers fuel Bajaj Auto

 The counter saw buying at lower levels after the company announced its results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2003.

 Bajaj Auto reported a 55 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 202.31 crore (Rs 130.82 crore), on a 20.3 per cent rise in sales at Rs 1,263.2 crore (Rs 1,050.07 crore).Bajaj Auto registered a 9.11 per cent rise in total sales at 3,80,273 units (3,48,521 units).
