Hectic Buying Fires Markets

The domestic bullion market was fired with hectic buying, supported by higher international prices during the week.

Marketmen said a spurt in gold prices in international markets mainly triggered buying by stockists. The retail buying due to wedding season also aided the rise.

The domestic standard gold price moved up from Rs 5385 since May 2, to close at today
