Hind Construction surges on railways' deal

Hindustan Construction Company was up 3.56 per cent to Rs. 916.85 in Tuesday's trade after hitting the day's high of Rs 938 during the intraday trade.
 
The scrip had closed at Rs 885.35 yesterday. The hike came after the company made an announcement of having received a railway line project worth Rs.173.02 crore.
 
HCC is one of the largest construction and infrastructure building companies in the country. The company focuses on construction activities in diversified areas like hydel, power, roads, bridges, dams, barrages, marine works, buildings and environmental projects.
