Hindalco GDR top gainer

ADR/GDR REPORT

The Instanex Skindia DR Index was down 0.10 per cent to 1,049.13 on Tuesday. Among ISDI global depository receipts (GDR) stocks, four advanced, two remained unchanged and one lost ground.

The major gainers were Reliance Industries up 3.83 per cent to $25.75, Hindalco up 3.64 per cent to $26.75 and ITC up 3.56 per cent to $24.75. All these stocks ended with gains on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) as well in Tuesday's trading. The only loser was Bajaj Auto down 0.28 per cent to $21.06.

Instanex Skindia DR Index was down 0.22 per cent to 1,044.79 on Monday and was trading at a profit-to-earning ratio of 18.77 (down 0.15 per cent).

On November 1, among ISDI ADRs, two advanced and six lost ground. The gainers were VSNL up 0.66 per cent to $7.64 and Dr Reddy's Lab up 0.54 per cent to $16.67.

The major losers were HDFC Bank down 3.18 per cent to $34.05, MTNL down 2.03 per cent to $7.74 and Infosys down 1.55 per cent to $65.40.

The ISDI represents the GDRs and ADRs of 15 actively traded companies.
