Hindalco GDR up

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 0.40 per cent to 1,006.91 on Friday in early trades.
 
Among the ISDI global depository receipts (GDRs), three advanced, two remained unchanged and two lost ground. The gainers were Hindalco, up 1.21 per cent to $27 and a volume of 60 GDRs, Reliance up 0.60 per cent to $25 and a volume of 32,170 GDRs and SBI up 0.56 per cent to $26.75.
 
The losers were Bajaj Auto down 2.82 per cent to $21.38 and a volume of 20,000 GDRs and Ranbaxy down 2.32 per cent to $23.15 and a volume of 28,279 GDRs.
 
The ISDI, representing the GDRs and ADRs of 15 actively traded companies, edged up by 0.64 per cent to 1,006.67 on October 14 as against the previous level of 1,000.27. The ISDI price-to-earning ratio also looked up by 0.62 per cent to 18.25 from 18.14 previously.
 
Among the ISDI GDRs and ADRs, there were eleven gainers and four losers. The GDRs of L&T and Reliance firmed up to $18.56 and $24.81, respectively, from $18.00 and $24.30, previously.
 
The ADR of Wipro also moved up to $22.11 from $21.75 previously. However, the ADRs of VSNL and Dr Reddy's moved down to $7.23 and $16.45, respectively, from $7.42 and $16.66, previously.
 
The GDR of Hindalco also eased to $27.15 from $28.32 previously.
