Hindalco GDR up 4%

ADR/GDR REPORT

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 1.09 per cent to 1,470.16 in today's morning trade. Among ISDI GDR stocks four advanced, one remained unchanged and two lost ground.

The major gainers were - Hindalco up 3.79 per cent to $3.56, ITC up 2.34 per cent to $43.75 and L&T up 0.98 per cent to $31.00. The losers were - SBI down 0.43 per cent to $50.75 and Ranbaxy Labs down 0.33 per cent to $12.02. In the previous days close, among ISDI ADRs six stocks advanced and two lost ground.

The major gainers were HDFC Bank up 3.69 per cent to $50.81, ICICI Bank up 2.25 per cent to $25.50 and Satyam Computers up 1.35 per cent to $29.34 . The losers were VSNL down 0.66 per cent to $18.07 and Wipro down 0.29 per cent to $10.14 .
