The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively-traded Indian depositary receipts, edged up over one per cent to 487.26 on Friday.

The ITC GDR advanced 3.31 per cent to $14.98, Hindalco rose 2.99 per cent to $13.80 and Larsen & Toubro climbed 1.16 per cent to $8.70.

However, Bajaj Auto shed 2.06 per cent to $9.98, while Ranbaxy Laboratories eased by 1.19 per cent to $14.92.

The GDRs of Reliance were heavily traded in the morning session today, registering volumes of around 3,00,000 GDRs.

Elsewhere, Wall Street opened flat, after leading computer maker Dell dashed investor hopes for a positive earnings surprise.
