The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively-traded Indian companies, gained around 3 per cent to 536.95 on Thursday, as compared to the previous close at 5:00 PM IST.
There were five gainers and one loser, while one GDR remained unchanged.
The gainers included Reliance (up 2.73 per cent to $13.15), State Bank of India (up 2.26 per cent to $18.10) and Hindalco (up 1.38 per cent to $14.70).

Bajaj Auto (down 0.18 per cent to $10.88) was the only loser, while ITC remained unchanged at $15.18.
On Wednesday, all Indian American Depository Receipts advanced. The major gainers were VSNL (up 11.92 per cent to $4.60), Infosys (up 4.91 per cent to $48.27) and ICICI Bank (up 3.50 per cent to $7.10).
The ISDI rallied smartly by 2.82 per cent to 534.41, as against its previous close of 519.75, an Instanex Capital release said.
The ISDI P/E ratio also shot up by 2.69 per cent to 11.17, as against 10.87 previously. Among Indian ADRs and GDRs, there were 19 gainers and two losers, while 51 others ruled steady.
The ADR of rediff.com rose to $4.70, from $4.29 previously. The GDR of GNFC also firmed up to $13.28, from $11.96 previously.
However, the GDRs of M&M and Bajaj Auto dropped to $2.60 and $10.88, respectively, from $2.70 and $10.90 previously.
