Hindustan Zinc hikes prices by 3.6 per cent

Hindustan Zinc, India's largest producer, raised the prices of zinc to reflect global rates.
 
The price of zinc was raised by Rs 3,800, or 3.6 per cent, to Rs 108,300 ($2,726) a tonne, the Udaipur-based company said on its website.
 
The price of lead was kept unchanged. Zinc for three-month delivery in London rose $105, or 4.4 per cent, to $2,490 a tonne yesterday.
