Non-ferrous metals had a flat week on the domestic market, following the trend in the London Metals Exchange (LME). While nickel lost ground, copper witnessed some gains.
 
The price of nickel cathodes closed at Rs 770.00 per kilogram, down from last Monday's close of Rs 809.00.
 
Copper wire bars closed at Rs 184 from last weeks Rs 182.50. Copper heavy scraps is on an upward trend at Rs 159.00 from last week's Rs 155. The price rose to Rs 157 on Thursday and further to Rs 159 this Monday. Copper utensil scraps ended trade at Rs 141 from Rs 138 last week.
 
Brass utensil scraps closed at Rs 110 a minor rise from Rs 108. The price briefly declined on Tuesday to Rs 107.50 before rising again. Brass sheet cutting closed at Rs 115 up by Rs 2 from last week.
 
Aluminium utensil scraps remained flat at Rs 83 all of last week. The price of lead ingots remained steady as well, except to register a minor increase by 50 paise to close at Rs 50 from Rs 49.50 last Monday.
 
The price of aluminium ingots closed at Rs 105, up by a rupee from last week. Zinc slabs closed at Rs 71 from last week's Rs 72. It declined by a rupee last Tuesday and remained unchanged. Tin slabs closed at Rs 508, the same as last week. The price rose to Rs 510 on Wednesday but fell by a rupee on Thursday.
 
It fell further on Monday by Re 1, to settle at the same level as the previous week.
