IIFL Holdings has moved higher by 12% to Rs 232 on the BSE after more than two million shares of the company changed hands via block deals on the BSE and NSE in early morning trade.

At 09:15 AM, around 1.35 million shares on the BSE, and 0.90 million shares on the NSE, changed hands on the counter, the stock exchanges data shows.

The name of the buyers and sellers are not immediately known.

As of March 2016, Ashish Dhawan and Bharat H Parajia, the individual shareholders held more than 1% stake in the company, the shareholding data shows.

At 11:47 AM, the stock was up 10% at Rs 229 on the BSE. A combined 3.07 million shares representing 0.97% of total equity of IIFL Holdings changed hands on both the exchanges so far.
