Shares of IL&FS Engineering and Construction were up nearly 2% after the company late Friday said it has won a railway project.
IL&FS Engineering and COnstruction Company in joint venture with GPT Infraprojects Ltd has received a Letter of Award from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd for the work of design and construction of rail flyover near Ganjkhwaja in Uttar Pradesh, the company said in a filing to the company stock exchange.
The total value of this project is Rs 144.65 crore, which is to be completed in 30 months, the release said.
Over 35,000 shares were traded on the stock exchanges so far.
