IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has rallied 6% to Rs 38.80 after the company said it has bagged a Rs 69.97 crore contract for construction of elevated depot cum workshop for the Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon.
The company has been awarded a contract for construction of elevated depot cum workshop for the Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon, (RIVIRG- Phase-II). The total value of the contract is Rs 69.97 crore and is to be completed within 24 months from the date of issue of letter of acceptance (LOA), IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company said in a statement.
This contract involves civil works (structural works) for elevated depot cum workshop near AIT Chowk, Gurgaon (South Extension), excluding architectural finishing works for RIVIRG (Phase II), it added.
The stock opened at Rs 39.40 and touched high of Rs 40.30 on the BSE. A combined around 15,000 shares changed hands on the counter so far on the BSE and NSE.
