IMFA to set up Rs 125 crore iron unit

 By the industry standards, the project is expected to cost about Rs 100 to 125 crore. This apart, the company plans to add 60 MW capacity to the 108 MW captive power plant located at Choudwar.

 The company, meanwhile, has applied for 92.55 hectre mining lease in Sundergarh district. Mecon is preparing the techno-feasibility report for the project.

 The company was earlier allotted a coal block, Utkal-C, by the Mahanadi Coal Ltd (MCL) at Talcher. Sources said this is in synergy with the company
