India Cements dips after block deals

India Cements has fixed record date as October 09, for the distribution of shares of Chennai Super Kings Cricket to the shareholders of India Cements in the ratio of 1:1.

Shares of India Cements have dipped 6% to Rs 80, falling 8% from its intra-day high on the BSE, after a multiple block deals executed on the counter.

Till A combined 17.43 million equity shares, representing 5.6% of the total equity of company changed hands as compared to sub one million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on the NSE and BSE.

The names of buyers and sellers are not immediately known.

India Cements has fixed record date as October 09, 2015 for the purpose of distribution of shares of Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL) to the shareholders of India Cements in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. one CSKCL share for every share held by a shareholder in India Cements.
