Most of the Indian ADRs ended on a positive note following gains on Wall Street after technology shares ended higher on back of strong earnings and rise in existing home sales.
Indian IT ADRs logged gains, Wipro climbed 3.9%, Genpact added 1.3'%, TCS zoomed 1.1%, and Infosys gained 1.7%. However Patni Computers ended in the red, down 0.4%.
From the auto pack Tata Motors edged up 2.6%. From the healthcare space, Dr Reddy's was up 2.6%. From the metal pack, Sterlite Industries moved up 2.4%.
Investors cashed in banking shares, HDFC was up 2.5% and ICICI Bank added 2.2%. India's Telephone service provider MTNL ADR bucked trend, was down 1%.
