Indian ADRs end in the red on Friday

Indian ADRs ended in the red on Friday following negative clossing on Wall street as Dow Jones slipped below the 12,000 mark due to sell off in energy and financial shares.

Indian IT ADRs plummeted. TCS slipped 3%, Infosys declined 1.6%, Wipro dipped 1.2%. However Genpact bucked trend, closed up 0.7% and Patni Computers also edged up 0.1%.

From the auto pack Tata Motors was down 1.5%. Among the healthcare space, Dr Reddy's declined 1.7%.

Investors also cashed out of Banks. HDFC Bank declined 1.3% and ICICI Bank was down 1.8%.

From the metal pack, Sterlite Industries was off 1.4%. India's Telephone service provider MTNL ADR declined 1%.
