Indian ADRs end mostly in the green on Tuesday

Technology shares ended mixed ahead of Infosys results tomorrow, the IT bellwether ended flat, down 0.1%, TCS surged 3.9% and Wipro gained 1%. However Patni Computers ended lower for the second consecutive day, down 2.9% on profit booking.

Investors cashed in banks on bargain hunting, HDFC Bank rose 0.6% and ICICI Bank was up 1%.

From the metal pack, Sterlite climbed 1.6%. From the pharma space Dr. Reddy advanced 1.3%, and Tata Motors surged 2% from the auto sector.

Lastly Genpact was up 1.3% and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd rose 1.7%.
