Indian ADRs end soft

The Indian ADRs ended largely in the red.

Banking had a rough day; HDFC Bank ended at $158, weaker by $5 or 3.5% and ICICI Bank ended at $47, lower by $1 or 2.4%. 

Tata Communication ended at $10, weaker by $0.2 or 2.3%, Dr Reddy's ended at $39, lower by $0.7 or 1.7% and MTNL ended at $2, down 1.2%.

The information technology space provided the only silver lining, with Patni Computers adding $0.2 or 1.2% at $20 and Infosys inching ahead by $0.1 or 0.1% at $71.
