Indian ADRs mostly mixed on Monday

Indian ADRs had a fairly positive day yesterday, with seven out of twelve companies closing in the green.

MTNL was the highest-gaining ADR at $2.57, up 2%. WIpro gained nearly 2% at $14.44, followed by Sterlite Industries at $15.27 and Satyam Computer Systems at $2.95, also up 2%.

Infosys Technologies at $69.48, Genpact at $14.84, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories at $41.12, all up marginally by 0.2%, were the other ADRs to close positively yesterday.

Amongst the losing ADRs, ICICI Bank lost almost 5% at $50.91, while Tata Motors was down 3% at $30.62 followed by HDFC Bank, which closed down slightly less than 1% at $186.74.

Tata Communications at $11.69 nad Patni Computer Systems at $20.78 also closed in the negative, but they were down marginally by less than a percent.
