Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial both gained further at the oils and oilseeds market here today due to persistent demand from exporters amidst supply constraints.
Meanwhile, castorseed futures witnessed volatility and closed lower on speculative offerings.
Refined palmolein also eased on lower Malaysian advices.
Groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of market moving factors.
In the non-edible section, castorseed bold jumped by Rs 100 per 100 kg to Rs 5,700 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 5,600 while castor oil commercial rose by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 1,170 as compared Rs 1,150 previously.

Turning to futures section, castorseeds for March delivery resumed higher at Rs 4,885 and shuttled in a wide range of Rs 4,925 and Rs 4,792 before settling at Rs 4,812 from Rs 4,821 yesterday, showing a modest loss of Rs 9 per tonne.
Moving to edible section, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 605 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 608. Groundnut oil were unaltered at Rs 765 per 10 kg.
